Psychological & Neuropsychological Evaluations for Children, Teens, & Young Adults

Specializing in Neuropsychological & Psychological Evaluations.

Testing will identify a youth’s cognitive, learning, and social-emotional strengths and areas of struggle. This information can be used to establish a diagnosis and, more importantly, to guide strategies and interventions to help youth thrive at home, school, & other important areas of their life. Cottonwood Assessment Clinic sees children and young adults from age 2 - 19.

Common concerns that can be explored through assessment include:

Learning Struggles (including Dyslexia)

Assessment can identify if a child is struggling from a learning disorder (such as Dyslexia) and guide interventions needed to help a child or teen thrive in school and on tests, based on their individual learning profile. An evaluation report will include recommendations to support learning at home and at school to help your child succeed.

Attention Deficits (AD/HD)

Assessment can identify attention and concentration deficits, patterns of hyperactivity and impulsivity, and difficulties with higher-order cognitive skills (processing, executive functioning) to help youth be more successful in managing demands associated with school, home life, or work.
